What is Aryabhatta Maths Exam?
Aryabhatta Mathematics Inter-School Competition is conduct by Summer Fields School, New Delhi and was started in 1983.
30th Aryabhatta Inter-School Mathematics Competition for classes V and VIII was held on Saturday, 2nd February, 2013 at 10:30a.m in the school premises.
This competition is only for students of class V and class VIII.
Students can take part in this competition through their schools only. Participating school is required to send Roll No. Form, Entry Form (duly filled in) & Entry Fee of Rs.100/- per participant in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay Order in favour of “Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi”.
This Annual event which tests the mathematical skills of the students of classes V and VIII has carved a niche for itself in the arena of school education. The aim of this competition is to dispel notions of Mathematics being a dry and boring subject. With its focus on developing logical thinking and creativity, the competition has become a permanent feature of the school.
Apart from a cash prize, merit certificates and mementoes to individual achievers, the rolling trophies for Class-V and VIII go to the schools with the highest and second highest average percentage.
